West Hazleton Fire, Hazle Twp. Fire, West Hazleton EMS and Apts Medic 11 dispatched for a kitchen fire at 132 Putnam St. around 13:30 hrs.  Engine 241 arrived with smoke showing and dropped approximately 275' of 5 inch in the street.  With assistance from Hazle Chief 101, Engine Co. 241 extinguished the fire with one 1 3/4" preconnect.  The fire was held to the area of origin.

The fire extended from the oven to the surrounding cabinets. There was minimal damage to the residence.  West Hazleton Chief 241(Ward) had command.
