COMPANY 24 PARTICIPATES IN FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUE COURSE Saturday, February 24, 2007 - 16 Firefighters from The West Hazleton Fire Department participated in a 16 Hour Fire Department Rescue Course through Bucks County Community College. West Hazleton Firefighters constantly train to make sure they are prepared.

WEST HAZLETON FIREFIGHTERS ATTEND DAY AT THE PARK Saturday, July 15, 2006 - West Hazleton Firefigthers got together and attended the Day at the Park at Hazle Twp Community Park. Firefighters set up a food stand, and set up a large variety of food to sell to the public. Also, Firefighters set up a Recruitment stand, and answered questions from the public concerning Firefighting and Emergency Services. Although the weather wasnt on our side throughout the day, we had a good time and it was a chance for "the family" to get together! We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand and showed their support!

FIREFIGHTERS REPAIR FIRE STATION ROOF Wednesday, June 21, 2006 - Lt's Jeff Halcisak and David Frye took time out of their schedule to perform maintenance on the Borough Building and Fire Station roof. By having the work done by Volunteer Firefighters, the taxpayers of the Borough of West Hazleton were saved hundreds of dolars!   Again, this is just 1 more service provided by the West Hazleton Fire Department!   Thanks Jeff and Dave!
